This is the sign for the bus stop on the corner of Madison Avenue and Leslie Rd.(Leslie Road enters Madison Avenue just beyond the last tree in the picture) Buses are about 35 feet long. With the three cars illegally parked in the bus stop, there is no way the bus can pull in along the curb to let people off. So the bus blocks the traffic on Madison Avenue and people, including the elderly and people with young children have to get off in the street instead of along the curb where they are supposed to. This is unsafe, but it goes on constantly. We have been reporting it for over five years. We have demanded for over five years that the bus stop be more clearly marked off and the road be marked off. We have demanded the police come and ticket these cars. In five years it was only done once. Buses started running at 6 AM and these three cars are still blocking the bus stop. This goes on all day long. Buses run till 11 PM. This needs to be addressed immediately. Also, people trying to pull out of Leslie Road and turn left have zero visibility. Same three block area illegal commercial parking issue was going on. An accident waiting to happen.
