Unfortunately, Oakland’s ordinance limits noise from 9:00 pm – 7:00 am. What I find interesting re this posting is the drilling - why are they drilling? It appears that the property owner is getting soil samples looking for “carcinogenic substances” left from the dry cleaner that used to be there.

As you will note above, this problem was reported nearly 10 months ago. The noise stopped approximately 9 months ago, not that the City of Oakland took any action, nor was the City the least bit helpful in stopping the noise. Since the problem stopped on its own (the project was completed by the contractor), PLEASE CANCEL THIS COMPLAINT AND STOP SENDING USELESS EMAILS REGARDING THE COMPLAINT.

Today I received a THANK YOU EMAIL for submitting this request for help. As you can see from my 1-27-2023 post above, the noise ceased in April 2022 when the contractor completed the work. So this is my 2nd request to CLOSE THIS COMPLAINT AND STOP SENDING USELESS EMAILS!!! This is a waste of resources.

The contractor FINISHED THE WORK IN APRIL 2022. 18 MONTHS AGO !!! THIS IS YOUR 4TH NOTICE TO CLOSE THIS COMPLAINT. PLEASE CLOSE IT.
