Description

This intersection is heavily traversed by both pedestrians and vehicles, but there is no flashing cross light or signal to ensure pedestrian safety. Since it is one of the thoroughfares to Hamden from New Haven, vehicles rush through the stop signs putting pedestrians at high risk. I have nearly been hit many times and see many others struggle to find a safe window in such a heavy traffic flow.
