Although some potholes are not very large in diameter, they are deep and should be repaired! I am very grateful that when I hit that pothole, my tire did not completely blow out! That may have proved to be very devastating, as some fatal accidents are caused by blowouts! I was able to have the tires replaced the next day (Sunday), but my bill was well over $500! I was not very happy about that!
There are some very bad potholes on Halls Mills Road! I understand that it is still winter, and that we may have some more snowstorms! Of course the roads would need to be plowed salted and sanded, resulting in more potholes! It makes more sense to repair the roads when winter is over and there is no further risk of any snowstorms! However, isn't there something that can be done to the potholes that would make the roads safer to travel on!
