This park was a Wild Spaces Public Places (WSPP) funded park. The City of Gainesville’s current standard for neighborhood parks does not include a restroom facility. The intent of a neighborhood park is to serve residents who live within walking distance of the facility and thus can walk home to utilize a restroom. All regional parks within the city have on site restrooms.
