Traffic Signal Issue ArchivedState St & Van Zandt St Schenectady, New York, 12304 - Schenectady2nd report, the pedestrian crossing light does not function. Today I was attempting to cross and on the west side cars were stopped, since you cannot see the light from the sidewalk, I was unaware that the light was still green for cars. I had to hurry back off the road as cars were still moving thru the light. This is highly dangerous for pedestrians and should be resolved ASAP

Traffic Signal Issue Acknowledged1806 State St Schenectady, NY, 12304, USA - SchenectadyThe pedestrian cross light is non-functional, the user has no auditoria or visual clues ( other than stopped cars) indicating when it is safe to cross. Many people use this crosswalk as it is adjacent to a bus stop. As you well know there was a recent fatality at this intersection. This is a serious problem that must be fixed.
