Growing homeless encampment Acknowledged5457-5481 Claremont Avenue Oakland, California - Fairview ParkThis encampment doubles in size each week. This morning there was a belligerent homeless person "batting" garbage with a stick at people and traffic. It's dangerous. If we do not address this it will grow into a whole homeless village like so many other places throughout Oakland. This is next to a park where children play!

Traffic Safety (non-emergency) Acknowledged453 59th St Oakland, CA, 94609, USA - Fairview Park
The open issue remains on the intersection of Hermann and 58th and Vicente and 58th. At both of these intersections speeding motorists are a problem and the dogleg in the roadway make visibility and crossings difficult for school children. We (the neighbors and I) would like work with the City to identify pedestrian safety solutions for this stretch. Please let me know how best to proceed.

Illegal Dumping - debris, appliances, etc. Acknowledged5439 Claremont Avenue Oakland, California - ShafterThere is a man in a large white van unloading misc. materials onto the underpass in front of the undersea mural, across from FROG Park. The man seems to be building up a collection of things there and then covering them with a tarp. Today is the first day I've witnessed him adding things, but the row of misc. materials has definitely been growing over the past couple weeks. This is not the first time there's been a build-up of materials in this location.
