Cars constantly run the red light here as they enter and exit the highway at high speeds. Can we install some bollards (not flex posts) to restrict lane width and provide refuge for bikes and pedestrians at the crosswalks. Or can we get an officer posted to cite these violations that endanger pedestrians everyday. Or can we get some automatic enforcement? Any solution is welcome. Just notifying some department or assigning this issue is not a solution. This app does the notification, now you take the next steps to keep our city safe. Why do we prioritize non resident commuters in private vehicles over the safety of our neighbors who are walking or riding to work.

When do you think you are going to replace and fix the currently destroyed bollards? . This is a historic photo. Get on it, please. ....
  • 602-720 Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
Cycletrack needs to be cleared of fallen leaves and broken plastic delineators (yes, the replacements are already breaking) should be replaced with hard protection that will both last and actually protect people.
  • 602-720 Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
Drivers using the micromobility lane as an additional car traffic lane because there is no hard protection preventing them from doing so. No picture because I was just trying to stay alive. Hard protection needed—this is unsafe by design!
  • Orange St & Trumbull St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - New Haven
Drivers run this red light with impunity. Can we please get some bike lane delineators to narrow the lane and give this intersection a little bit of a road diet. Speed at this intersection is also a major problem as drivers coming off the highway accelerate to make the light. Automatic enforcement should be installed here ASAP. Conditions are dangerous and the city knows about it but is taking no action. At what point does that become willful negligence.

769 Edgewood Ave New Haven, CT, 06515, USA - Westville
Trash and recycling bins (likely belonging to 769 and 775 Edgewood) in the bike lane. Snow unplowed (city's responsibility) in the bike lane. These brand new bike lanes are unusable due to city's negligence and resident's bins.
  • 303-399 Cedar St New Haven, CT, 06519, USA - New Haven - Ward 03
add delineators to yellow bike lane for entire block. bike lane is always parked in by food vendors with zero enforcement. or just make it a legal parking lane on the left side as well which will bring traffic calming to the street and make it feel safer to bike in the lane,.
  • 204-206 Elm St New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Downtown
Without delineators/protection, this bike lane makes the road more dangerous for people on bikes than if it didn't exist at all. You can see in the picture how the woman biking in front of me is now squeezed between the truck and passing cars, and there is almost always a vehicle in the bike lane because of the dorms and the post office. It would be an inconvenience for a car to have to pass a vehicle parked in the car lane, but to someone on a bike it's terrifying to get squeezed because a vehicle is parked in the bike lane.
  • 137-153 Whitney Ave New Haven, CT, 06511, USA - Yale University Campus
Can we remove a lane of parking on Whitney ave and put in a cycle track or a BUS AND BIKE ONLY lane. There are many commuters that move along Whitney and single occupancy vehicles take up too much space
  • 926 Chapel St New Haven, CT, 06510, USA - Town_Green

A pedestrian spat on the painted bike lane and a motorist looked at me funny.

Please eliminate all motor vehicle traffic from Chapel St., move the bus routes and install giant rotating blades on the sidewalks to protect us.

  • 15 Norton St New Haven, Connecticut, 06511 - West River
most of the bike delineators are down on both sides of the street can the city send someone maybe from the parks department to fix them ty in advance
  • 1-7 Humphrey St New Haven, CT, 06513, USA - Fair Haven
Overgrowth blocking the “bike lane” on Humphery by the Humphery/James bus stop
