Requested sign should be used only at locations where the crossing activity is unexpected or at locations not readily apparent. This intersection is controlled by all way Stop and there is no line of sight issues. Moreover, drivers must come to a complete stop (ALL WAY STOP) even if no pedestrians are present at crosswalk, before going through the intersection. per Traffic Specialist Nino
