Description
The green light at the traffic signal for southbound traffic on West Street crossing over San Pablo Av is too short for a cyclist to safely make a complete crossing of San Pablo Av. The light turns yellow before the cyclist gets to the median and turns red just after the cyclist passes the median. This is a problem because the traffic on San Pablo waiting at their red light cannot see the cyclist since it is a diagonal intersection. There was a cyclist killed here a few years ago, not sure the reason, but it could easily happen again if this green light is not lengthened by at least two seconds.
