On this whole curvy stretch of road the speed limit is 25 MPH. Everyday I travel that road going 25-30 MPH and there's always at least 2 cars that want me to go faster. Sometime people honk and flash their lights. I've even been hollered at on occasion. Where's a Coventry cop when you want one? I know~at D&DIdo not travel this road any more soI do not care...

I feel your frustration, but donut jokes won't convince a police officer or chief to help you.
Call the department directly and respectfully report that speeding is a problem and request additional coverage.
Unfortunately, the truth is that enforcement will not change the way people drive. There's not enough cops or enough tickets in the world. But you'll help the town generate some revenue and maybe change one or two drivers' habits if their licenses are revoked or something.
Main number is 401-826-1100. Ask for Patrol Division Cpt. James P. Rickard. But if you can't get a person just go directly to Chief Bryan J. Volpe.
There's also this program that might help if you want to take it upon yourself to put up some signs:

Good luck - safe driving!

I'm not sure where you got the names and phone number from buy it not right. The number for Coventry Ct. P.D. is: 860-742-7331.
Thank-you for your input.

Yikes! That's embarrassing! It goes to show you how multi-tasking can lead to problems. I googled Coventry PD and got the department in Coventry, R.I. - copy-pasted the number without noticing the area code.
But you're welcome all the same and good luck - it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease. You just have to keep calling. But like I said, driver behavior isn't necessarily going to change even with enforcement. Too many cars, too many new drivers, etc.
