If it is the firm policy of Vallejo Public Works that these new trees will NOT be watered, then Public Works must begin a program to pull ALL of them out of the ground and rake out the dirt left behind. Also, a moratorium on ALL purchases of living landscape materials must be instituted.

Thanks for reporting! Many tree reports the Grounds Section receives are actually the responsibility of the property owner. We have given this report to the Grounds Inspector for their review. Thank you again for reporting! The issue you reported has been has been inspected. The trees are getting water 3 days a week, all valves are operating properly and there are new buds forming at the ends of the branches. We will be monitoring these trees closely and have noticed them being delayed in leafing out.
