Kentvale is terrible! I do not know how people live on that street.

I refuse to drive thru that sub in my car ONLY because I have been thru it a number of times on my school bus!!!! It is like driving thru a mine field trying to avoid whatever potholes or bad patch jobs there is at that point. The last thing I need is my bus to break down when I have kids on board!!!

People live on that street? Are they living in those "wholes"?

The Subdivision is known as Indian Run, built between '76 & '79, someone made a "sweetheart deal" for the concrete paving. We have lived there 12 years & the Township of Clinton has squandered hundreds of thousands patching this mess. Full re-paving is the only solution.

I'd be happy if they'd even asphalt Cimarron instead of repaving the concrete.

I pay an association fee where I live. My roads are perfect. When they go bad, the association fixes them. Quit begging for handouts and pay for repairs through association fees like everyone else.

Sorry Matty, but everyone doesn't belong to an association where you have to beg the board to fix the problems. Do you realize that you pay your association fees for your sub PLUS you pay property taxes which are used to fix the roads of everyone who doesn't pay extra fees?

Jerry, do you realize that your property taxes are NOT used to fix the roads? Only your gas and weight taxes are used for roads. And as long as Michigan remains in the bottom 10 states for spending on roads while they are in the top 10 largest road systems, the roads will continue to deteriorate.

I live on Picton Ct. and I agree, the whole sub is a complete mess. The kids that walk to school or even just play are going to get injured one day! We all spend alot of time taking care of our houses and yards, and deserve to have decent streets to drive on!

When all else fails..................oh, it's not safe for the children.

I have lived in Cliton Twp on Bayham, school street for 37 years plus.. The thing is I have payed my taxes for 37 years, I should have a decent
road. What did you do with my taxes? I think it was miss managed and should be seriously look into. Everybody wants our roads fixed.

Sure everyone one wants a newly paved sub, including me. However, the Township wanted a $5000 lien per parcel to put asphalt over the existing road. Many people can't afford that, which is why it was voted down a couple years ago when repaving the sub was proposed. The streets are ridiculous and embarrassing. When guests come to my home to visit and complain about Cimmaron, I'm forced to apologize. It's getting to the point that the road crews can't even patch them anymore. I've seen a couple of spots in the sub where whole slabs of concrete would rock back & forth when cars drove over it - one being the entrance to the school.

Has anyone ever tried to go after the contractor? For being a new sub those roads should not be in the condition they are in for as long as they have been. It would seen to me inferior cement was used.

Indian run subdivision needs repaying at the township or counties cost... Not home owners!!!! Thought that's what taxes do....not to mention an elementary school in the sub where there are a lot of walkers.... Who pays the lawsuit if someone twists an ankle crossing the street?

Cimmaron is beyond terrible and yes, it's embarrassing when someone has to go thru that street to get to your house. You have to drive thru the sub looking down instead of straight ahead!!

What a disgrace these condition of these roads are, I have advised my Daughter and Son in law not to buy a home here, They found a house on Clayton they liked, I told them not to waste their money, If the Township dose not care enough to fix roads, values will fall

While the entire city of Clinton Townships roads continue to crumble, theres a contest winner of what name to give the "Golden Circle" on Hall road. SMH...My mother and I are constantly putting money into fixing up our vehicles due to these "roads" around here. Just think everybody what could have been done if that money wasted on a rediculous Golden Useless ring for everyone to look at at and point at as they drive by it had been used for something that makes sense like, oh I don't know maybe Fixing The Damn Roads???!!!

Well my previous comment made too much sense so it has been blocked. What sense does it make to even have this space to type in? Clinton Township just isn't what it used to be I guess.

I hope everyone else that has come on this website realizes that this is just to patronize us not to fix anything. Thanks for nothing.
